My name is Thu, and I'm a mom of three, a high school English teacher, and serial hobbyist-- among many things, I am into making (knitting, crocheting, sewing), bullet journaling/creative planning, fountain pens, and reading mainly YA fiction, as well as powerlifting, running, and yoga.

I was keeping a blog here for over a decade, but in December 2022 I turned 40, and I felt like making a fresh start. 

The title of this blog comes from something my yoga instructor says during my favorite pose, Warrior 2: "Turn your gaze fiercely forward." I have always loved this expression, especially during this pose when I feel my most empowered. As I embark on this next phase of my life, I am turning my gaze fiercely forward and hoping to zero in on the things that fill my cup.
